This a great poem by Bailey. I see the eloquent efforts to get better every day, to learn from mistakes, to escape the chains of the past. Thanks, Dick.
A pleasure! Agree completely Rod - I really liked that aspect of it. And it resonates with me especially at the moment. The past can shackle us. Learning to let go is hard, for me anyhow! But very important I am learning. :-)
Aw thanks LeeAnn, I really appreciate your kind words! I am so glad that line resonated specifically - it was the one which took the most time to get right :-)

Again I prefer your poem, but thanks for introducing this poet to us.
Thanks Treasa :-) I appreciate it. I guess at the end of the day, my one wouldn't exist without their one, so they're a bit of a package deal haha ;-)
I love this--"Yesterday rested the curve of a small brown bowl." I love short poems and they are so hard to write. You do it beautifully.
