Forgotten Poems #117 || Reissue #21
Frog prince, you better believe it, dancing freely in the rain.
Hehe - nice :-)
“Croak ribbit. Harumpf” means “My tadpoles got et.”
Hahahaha, nice one.
i am a toad and my head hurts: the wisdom stone, like appendix, burst
Interesting - will think on this one - love the "wisdom stone" reference :-)
"night's black cloak heavy with croaks—I gasp for air"

frog’s frolicking, heart’s throbbing
pick & choose :)
Both! Lovely. :-)
Luring you in with feigned vulnerability, my soft skin oozes hallucinogen, potentially toxic.
A frog or a toad, humble creatures, can inspire an ode.
Indeed they can :-)
Here’s one I wrote back in March:
First Frog of Spring
one lone frog
singing long in the dark
serenades the full moon
Aw lovely :-)
Throat pulsing, eyes bright . . . a beetle in the belly!
Ohh love this Ann - love how you conjure up the frog without mentioning it.
Dick, I’m so glad you liked that one! I was remembering a cute toad I once met in the forest. Looking closely, I noticed an insect leg still hanging out of its mouth—like a spaghetti noodle :-)
heaney’s 'blunt heads' art
still croaks in the memories
of students, farting
"If a bitch feeling froggy, tell her hop out, bitch" - Doechii
I'll have to work on my own and get back to you hehe
Love this - perrrrrrfect! (love that tune too - sooo good)
Hahahahahaha brilliant!
:)
Love your frog poems, Dick. Here's mine - after Basho.
"Basho's frog - learning to slip in, soundlessly."
Green grass on my skin, shallow I lay 🐸🤗
a life in water, oh frog, I am jealous
Aw really love this Kerry - there is a real Issa lightness to it. Wonderful.
oh my gosh I love your frog poems - now I have to write one myself!
Aw cheers Kerry! Loved your one too.
Ribbit: rip it: sky from river.
