Another great one from you! The images of the moon and the mud juxtaposed in this way read like a dream! The poem of Kenneth is great too. What a gem you’re bringing for us with these too. Is poetry a formula or a feeling?

Ahhh thanks so much Pilgrim. Appreciate the kind words. That stanza was a special moment - I could feel it as it arrived, and knew before the words what they were, without knowing - very dream-like haha! You know me - always both/and ;-) and I think for each of us as poets it’s the passage from feeling to form (to function - the third of the set for me) and back again that gives poetry it’s spark! :-)

Love part III of your poem, Dick, but the progression in part I is really good, as well!

Aw cheers Paul - really appreciate it. Yeah, I knew that third part really sang, but the first two parts are needed for the progression into it. Part I is a summary of 20 years of thinking - so I am really glad it resonated too. 💜
